Speaker: Angela Ciccia, Ph. D.
What: Discussion based on her research on the impact of underage drinking on the development of the adolescent brain. Following Dr. Ciccia's presentation, there will be a panel presentation and opportunity for questions.

What: The program and accompanying book written by child and adolescent grief experts will examine the newest theories and practices, and as always, will combine academic research with hands-on ideas for use in hospice support groups and other settings.

What: This class will educate families on the process of addiction and will provide families with information regarding the everyday danger of household items that adolescents are now abusing. It will answer the questions; when do I begin to talk to my children about drugs and alcohol? Is it a problem if my child got caught drunk or high once? What is the difference between experimenting and an addiction?
