Nebraska Leaders targeting Middle Schoolers to prevent inhalent abuse
Research has shown that while illicit drug use is down overall, among middle school students, inhalants remain a serious problem, with 3.4 percent of 12 year-olds and 4.8 percent of 13 year-olds reporting inhalant use in 2006. In Nebraska, the Central Nebraska Council on Alcoholism and Addiction is helping to tackle this trend by training middle school youth on how to make healthy choices. Read more.
